oshkosh part 1

We had the best trip ever! My family and pathfinder group went to Oshkosh, Wi for the NAD camporee, that happens only once every 5 years. What an experience it was. We started out on the journey on Aug. 6, 2009 and headed away from Idaho! We didnt make it very far when we had to stop at walmart in missoula, MT to buy a new portable dvd player for the kids! back on the road, we hit a BAD storm in the middle of MT. HAIL as big as dimes, pounding our truck and trailer and all the gear we were hauling. It was so loud and noisy that it was hurting my ears. I was never so happy to get out of that storm. we later heard that it got much worse. We made it to Wyoming the first night. We slept at a tailer park, and headed out once again brignt and early. We decided that we were going to stop in S. dakota and see the awesomeness that is MT. RUSHMORE!
