New house

The new house has had its ups and many downs. The first night the heat didnt work, that first sunday the hot water tank died and the tub leaked into the basement. Also there are NO twisty handles to open any of the boys windows in their rooms. Oh brother... hope this is all the problems.

New Hair cut

My new look! I cut about 5 inches off, it was all frizzy and yucky. Now I have healthy nice, all one length, hair again!

Summer school

I had a month break and then hit the books again for summer school. I am currently half way through and looking forward to another small break before school starts for the fall semester. I am taking sociology, medical terminology, and Pilates. Its been fun.

Goodbye/Hello

Today is the last night I will ever sleep in the house that my great husband Brett built for me. We are moving officially out tomorrow. Its a good thing, but also I am a little sad about leaving. God has been watching out for us and this is his will, so I am going along for the ride. Our new house has 5 bedrooms... Im excited. I will now have a guest room/ scrap booking room. I need to get started on doing that again before I completely run out of time, or get too many pics to scrapbook. Thank you all for the prayers for me and my family during this transition period in our lives.

Band concert

This is Byron (oldest) playing the flute in his Jr high school band concert. He is so good. He has lots of musically talent. Im very proud of him.

Im so proud of these 2 boys. There were the last 2 standing in the simon says marching and drill contest. GREAT JOB!

Home made

In band class, Darrin had to make an instument... he has 4 to choose from and he chose the flute. Then when all the kids were done, they had a mini concert for all the parents. It was pretty neat. The band teacher at Athol Elementary is a great teacher and I give him every credit for my sons learning music. We will miss him next year.

moving day

Our house is sold... I guess its not final until they sign the papers, but as far as im concerned its sold. We are moving. I dont know the moving date yet and hopefully after our inspection tomorrow we will have a definable date of when we have to be out. Im sad. This house was built just for ME! I dont want to leave, but I would rather leave peacefully then have a police escort. lol. We have been packing and moving everything that isnt a necessity so when the big day comes it should only take one more day of moving and we will be done. As it is, its take many days to move the amount of stuff we moved. Its crazy. We found a 5 bedroom house with a basement and a fenced backyard (for dog) in CDA. We are living in a quiet neighborhood (well until we arrive it will be quiet, lol) and the kids will be in good schools. I will be closer to college and Brett will be right in town where the work is. The move is a good thing, just not what i wanted. Oh well, thats life i guess.

1/2 over?

Can you believe that 2010 is half over already? The snow finally stop falling and in a few months it will come back in sheets! My life is passing before me like someone has a speed timer... where has the time gone? Im at a lost... my life has changed so much in such a short amount of time. A year ago I was happy and completely unaware that life as i knew it was about to be changed forever.

Color

This last weekend, the boys wanted to do something drastic to their hair, so we bleached and dyed hair the color the color Easter eggs. It was fun. Might as well have fun while you are a kid.

Summer school

I had a mini summer vacation (about 4 weeksish) and on Monday June 6th I go back to school. My little monkeys dont get out of school until I go back. Oh well. at least I had a good quiet break. Im excited about summer school even though the class time has been cut in half... You get 16 weeks normally for a semester and now its 8 short weeks of intense class work then Im back on vacation for about another 4 weeks then its back to school for fall classes. Im trying to get all the classes done in a timely manner and by doing summer school I will be just that much more ahead. Wiah me luck!
